For the 2021 Color Builder series, Aurifil has partnered with Earth League International (ELI) to shine a light on Endangered Species via increased awareness and targeted fundraising.

Each thread set includes a warm, medium and dark shade of 40wt thread inspired by an Endangered Species.

This beautiful set of blues was inspired by the  endangered Whale Shark found in the Mesoamerican Reef, Coastal East Africa, Gulf of California and Coral Triangle.

Forty weight thread is as versatile as the 50wt but just a bit thicker and stronger. It is excellent for sewing bags and garments, as well as for a more defined quilting pattern or topstitching.
